Protection from abuse orders

What is a PFA?
When you turn to us for help, you can trust that we will be here for you. Our lawyers can help you obtain protection from abuse orders or defend you against them. A protection from abuse (PFA) order is a civil order that protects from harm family or household members, sexual or intimate partners, or people who have a child in common. When necessary, you can obtain an emergency order or an ex parte temporary PFA, as well as a final PFA, which lasts up to three years.
